It has always been short, layered, bob, wash and wear, pony, straight, and then this year my hair was just at its longest since high school. I enjoyed growing it after a Korean stylist trimmed and layered it without compromising length and texture. But now, it's just too heavy and I am tired of ponytails and hair straightening. And so, I bravely went to the supermarket salon (yes, you've read that right... nothing fancy, but I liked it)... and asked her to cut about three inches off the layers and she decided to do something different. I love the huge curls and waves, the bounce, the lightness, the fluff, and the volume!
(Thanks to Jin and our conversation about how we used to have the same hairstyle almost a decade ago! I somehow had the urge to just go and get that much needed trim.)
While submitting to the stylist, I could not help but reminisce my last hair appointments with Lynette. We had our hairs color treated for the very first time together, that was fancy, expensive, and was totally unnecessary... but so much fun! Hehehe!!! We vowed never to have our hairs colored again, with the products we need to buy to maintain it, and the damage it has done to our tresses... never mind. (Although I may reconsider coloring when I see silver streaks, let me just be vain hehehe!)
Would you believe that this is my first haircut in Colorado? Hahaha! Two years ago, when we moved here I was growing a botched haircut from Cebu. I styled the overgrown ends and the leftover of the highlights, and added bangs. Oh btw, this has been the cheapest hair cut I have ever had here in the US! Beat that! =P
