The early morning madness makes me feel like a headless chicken. I get up from bed, disheveled and groggy. If I'm lucky I can freshen up before I head downstairs to pack my boys' breakfast and packed lunch. My heart somestimes would skip a beat that I find myself catching my breath. I really wonder how other moms and wives do it with more than one child to take care of and a career to take care of. This new routine maybe too gruesome for my quite lethargic body, but I find myself loving it. It makes me appreciate the weekends more and more.
Last night, the husband and I played ping pong for almost half an hour. I know I am way too lousy returning the ball but it was fun! He was practicing a new technique to serve the ball which actually does not make any difference to me (I still can't return the ball no matter what hehehe!). Exercising at least once a week is what we want to achieve for now. We agreed that if we fail to do it we will iron all the clothes! I tell you this chore is punishment enough to get us on our feet hehehe!!!
And with all these exhaustion, I find a sense of fulfillment at the end of the day. My days are no way near boring anymore. The chaos keeps me sane...
He pulls away from the driveway, we wave our goodbyes and blow our kisses... excited for the day's end. There is a smile plastered on my face -- happiness and pride -- grateful for this wonderful blessing!
