Of Temper Tantrums

27 January 2010

I feel that I am an inch closer to going mad about things. My weight and all the discomforts of third trimester has taken its toll on my mood swings. I am no fun to be around and I definitely don't find things pretty amusing the way I used to. I am no Mrs Sunshine. I know the world doesn't revolve around me and my woes. And that goes to others too... we try to sink or swim at our best. So no matter how miserable and stressful we all are, we should try and smile or hug the people we care about. It isn't too much.

I am guilty of becoming a pretty indifferent and neglectful mother and wife. I am so immersed in my own little cocoon of pains and worries. I am easily irritated if I don't get things done my way. I can't be bothered by noise, clutter, and whatnots. I easily lose it and scream at the top of my lungs, to almost sounding like a lunatic with a huge belly! I am tired.

When temper tantrums hit, I would rather sulk in bed... or burn phone lines... or perhaps clean the house and fold the laundry. Ah but wait I am too tired to be standing too long which pisses me off a lot more!

I have a couple more months to go and then I'll pop. From thereon, I will have a different tantrums. I hope it won't be as crazy as I remember them (back then).

Right now, I need my friends. Chitchat over food and lots of food, laughters and stories just about anything under the sun... or perhaps lounging by the beach, while getting a massage, and still lots of food LOL!
