The Nothing

If you're familiar with "The Never Ending Story", then you know what 'the nothing' means. Really, the nothing destroyed the ball game today! Hahay! We arrived at the Coors Field just to grab some sandwich, chips, and soda... by the time we got to our seats, there was a siren blasting and dark clouds looming over us, suddenly heavy drops came, and everyone was sent to the concourse because apparently there was a severe weather warning (read: tornado warning)!!! We had one of the best seats (almost kissing the green fields)! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

So we had to hurry ourselves outside before the weather gets really nasty! I felt sick walking through a swim of tall people with odors and what have yous! Someone even dared to fart, what the heck!!! People were noisy and my main concern was being separated from my boys if a stampede happens. It was difficult to go to the exit gates because most of the fans were just standing idly by the hallways waiting for the rain and the warning to pass... that explains the 'crowding'!

The only one who enjoyed the trip was the little one! He got to ride the light rail (the train!), and the bus to the stadium. Then we dropped off Barnes to let him play with Thomas (alas there were no trains hehehe!). And off we went to church and dinner at Chili's which he loves so much just because of their "blue juice" (slushie). The husband and I would have loved to eat something comforting after a very frustrating afternoon. We are somehow used to eating at SunBurst Grill (a Filipino resto) after church. But what can you do, it's the little one's day!?!

And as I end this, we saw two rainbows!!! I have pics but too lazy to post. What do you know? On our way home, the sun was shining like there was no storm warning! The skies were blue as if nothing happened! Weather weather lang gyud! Pastilan!
